Brandon Herrera Breaks $800K Raised for Congressional Campaign
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
San Antonio, TX – Today, the Brandon Herrera campaign announced it has raised a total of $829,855.38 since launching in August. This nearly matches the amount raised during the entire primary campaign in the previous election cycle.
This total includes $724,097.34 raised through the Brandon Herrera Victory Committee, as reported in filings today, plus an additional $104,454.04 raised directly into the campaign committee, as reported in a quarterly report filed on October 15.
This is nearly five times more than the amount raised by Herrera’s opponent, incumbent Congressman Tony Gonzales, who brought in only $182,958.59 during the same period.
Perhaps most impressive is that these funds were raised in small increments from over 30,000 donors nationwide. This network of supporters is likely to continue chipping in through the March primary.
