San Antonio, TX — Following Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott’s pause on construction activity in Big Bend National Park, Brandon Herrera made the following statement:
This is 100% the right move.
I have been a vocal proponent of preserving both Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park, and I’m glad to see that advocacy paying off.
We can protect our borders without destroying our landmarks. We must protect Big Bend.
